Definition of heat engines:
Engine heat is a machine which turns by which thermal energy from fuel combustion (whether this solid or liquid fuel or a gas) to take a mechanic can make use of it in the management of machines used, either in industry or in transport.
Types of heat engines:
Divided heat engines in terms of fuel into the combustion into two main types: -
(A) external combustion engines: -
In this type of fuel combustion outside the cylinder engine in special boilers and heat generated from the combustion of fuel used in the conversion of boiler water into steam that can be used in the management of steam engines and turbines.
(B) internal combustion engines: -
In this type of fuel combustion in the engine cylinder and the gas generated by the combustion piston moving directly.
Types of internal combustion engines:
1 - Burner engines: -
And where fuel is evaporating and mixing with air in the homogeneous charge before entering the cylinder by means of
A special device called the evaporator (fed) as the shipment is burning after the pressure inside the cylinder by an electric spark and fuel needs to be used in these engines of the type that facilitates such as gasoline and flying sometimes be a medium caliber, such as kerosene.
2 - injector engines: -
The fuel is injected by a fuel injection pump and through a special valve (machine gun) into the cylinder where it is mixed atoms fuel injected compressed air inside and self-combustion and fuel used in these engines often sweatshirt such as diesel.
Note:
Recently introduced engines Burner does not use the fed to prepare shipment heterogeneous of air and gasoline but is equipped with a pump especially for injection gasoline in the form of a fine spray by machine guns either inside the cylinder directly or in complex air intake near the air valve Vijtlt air inside the cylinder component shipment homogeneous are compressed then ignited by an electric spark and internal combustion engines vary also in terms of: -
1- Cylinders: -
Including motor unilateral and bilateral cylinders as in motorbikes, including engines three and four and five and eight and ten cylinders as in vehicles ride and public vehicles but including with twelve-cylinder and six ten cylinder as in large vehicles public and some luxury cars and in engines that operate in facilities industrial.

2 - Order Cylinders: -
Arrange cylinder engines so that the adjacent row v straight or at an angle to become cylinders opposite and perpendicular to annex any column distributed in the two sides oppositely from the column and spread the use of these types of large saloon cars and luxury trucks and buses.
3 - Set Cylinders:
Placed cylinders so that they are in the level of vertical or diagonal or horizontal to take column annex a situation parallel to the axis of longitudinal car or vertically it also differs installation position of the engine in the car (front - lower - and middle - rear) according to the space occupied by the engine size of the car.
