Scott took me for a tour of the entire facilities and gave me the
liberty to snap away. The technology that they have on hand will prove
to generate some of the craziest and most innovative products out there
for 2005. He also took the time to explain to me the process on which
many of their new products will be designed and developed. I don't want
to let everything out of the bag yet, but definitely stay tuned to STR
and BDL Industries as big changes will come in 2005. They are definitely
one company to continue supporting as they have supported the scene for
many years now with their vast knowledge and strive to design race
ready products to the everyday consumer.
For many years now, STR has paved the way in innovative product design
and has been a major sponsor in dominating sport compact race cars. I
had the privilege of meeting with Scott Miller as he explained the
recent shift over from STR to BDL Industries. In his own words:
"BDL Industries has been producing the STR Product Line for almost three years now as well as private labeling for several other companies. BDL Industries facilities include over 100 machines - over 40 CNC, Mills and Lathes, Rubber Injection Mold, 20 Polishing Stations, and Foundry all of which is in house. This has enabled us to increase overall production and broaden the existing product line. The actual transformation will take place over the next few months. We will be launching a huge AD campaign over the next year, explaining that STR has a new face for the future of performance, BDL Industries. We hope you all like the new look and stay tuned for more and exciting products."
